Hello Nail Art Addicts!

I just got back from a 2 week vacation to NYC and Ontario, Canada! Sorry for the lack of posts!

I received about 5 packages of indie polish while I was gone (woohoo) so swatch posts are coming soon!

Here are some neat photos from NYC if you are all interested! If you haven't been, go! It's an amazing city.

F4 Polish Piper! Glittertastic Swatches

Hello everyone! Today I have another indie polish to show you! I actually found F4 Polish just by scrolling through polish related listings on Etsy one day and I immediately fell in love.
Their shop has an amazing abundance of glitter goodness. Couldn't resist!
I picked up an order from them consisting of 3 different polishes, and this is the first one I tried out!

Here is a bottle shot of F4 Polish Piper! Super cute label, neon pink! It made my camera nearly die (It doesn't like neon). Anyway, check out that macro glitter shot! Actually, it's more like a close up glitter shot, but it counts!

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish Piper over 2 coats of OPI Do You Lilac It?. This was the perfect underwear for Piper! It matched perfectly. Piper is a dense lavender, white & violet glitter polish with a clear base. Perfect for toppers, but dense enough to build up to wear on it's own. It features micro - large hex glitters and goes on very evenly. I didn't have to dab or place the glitters anywhere!

Here's a neat bottle shot with my mani all blurred out. Ha ha, I thought this was artsy! I loved this polish. Anything lavender is a weakness of mine, so I'm glad I picked up this beauty!

You can purchase F4 Polish on Etsy and keep up with them on Facebook!
Piper is not currently in stock, but the girls at F4 Polish restock very often, so keep your eyes out!

Pretty & Polished Jawbreaker!

I think I am officially obsessed with indie polish. I hauled all sorta of brands in July and kept going into August! I'll have to post some pictures of my haul soon.

Anyway, while I have about 8 (I think?) more P&P's on their way to me, this was one of the first ones I purchased! I saw swatches and just had to have it.

Here are some bottles shots of Pretty & Polished Jawbreaker! I love the label on this one. I understood that Chelsea had tried out some new labels for purchased made on Llarowe and I love them!
Check out all the pretty glitter! The classic primary colors featured in a jawbreaker!

This is 2 coats (Just 2 coats! Of a jelly glitter polish!? In Heaven!!) of Pretty & Polished Jawbreaker. It's a primary color assortment of glitters in a white base. It went on beautifully, with no streaks, and the glitter went on evenly. See how the glitter suspends itself in the polish? Like a glitter sandwich without the work! This looks exactly like a jawbreaker!

Here's a couple of shots sans flash. I love the assortment of glitters in this polish. It's made up of mostly small & medium hex glitters with some larger squares and tiny bar glitters. Just a party in a bottle!

You can purchase Pretty & Polished on Etsy & Llarowe! Etsy is currently sold out but Llarowe still has some stock of some other cute shades!
You can also keep up with info on preorders and new shades on P&P's Facebook.

Essence Color & Go's! Review and Swatch

Hi everyone! Today I have some awesome swatches of Essence's Color & Go line to show you!
They have come out with 18 new & trendy colors for their Fall/Winter collection.

They have a gel-like shine finish and a fast drying formula! (Best of both worlds, right?)
They also have a new bottle shape! Instead of the old 5ml bottle, they now come in 8ml bottles!

Let's get started with these swatches.

This is Essence Stuck On You. It's a blue-grey creme with a hidden shimmer. It is absolutely gorgeous and the favorite out of the 3 I got. It covered in 2 coats perfectly. It even shines somewhat purple in different lights! A dark grey blurple. Hard to find something like that!

This is 3 coats of Essence Ultimate Pink. It really, truly is the Ultimate Pink. Ultimate Barbie pink, that is. It is a hot pink creme that dries with a crazy shine. It went on a little streaky, so I went with 3 coats to be safe. You could probably get away with 2 coats instead. This is very cute and girly, love it!

Oh, I loved this one. This is Essence Modern Romance. It is a peachy-nude creme with a pink shimmer (Couldn't get that shimmer to photograph! But it's there!) that shows up in direct light. It's a very cute and girly shade! This was 3 coats as I had trouble getting full coverage with 2 coats. This would be an awesome spring shade! I can't wait to use this baby in some nail art!

Here's a comparison of the new bottles. The new bottles are easier to hold and grip to paint evenly and precisely! And who can complain about an extra 3ml a bottle? (Not me!)

All Color & Go polishes are Big 3 Free and have a professional patented brush that distributes color with amazing accuracy!

They have a huge range of colors from brights to classics! You can purchase Essence at ULTA, HEB & Fred Meyer in the States for only $1.99!
You can also purchase Essence Cosmetics in Canada at Shopper's Drug Mart & Pharmaprix!

The products featured in this post were sent to me by the company for an honest review.
